BCEL celebrated its official branch opening in Saiyabouly Province
On 13rd of June 2008, BCEL celebrated its official branch opening in Saiyabouly Province. The branch was formally opened by Mr. Phouphet Khamphounvong Governor of the Bank of the Lao P.D.R, Mr. Lein Thikeo the Vice Mayor of Saiyabouly Province, Mr. Sonexay Sitphaxay General Director of BCEL, BCEL’s leaders and staffs.

On 22nd October 2008, BCEL had held the Signing Ceremony to continue the co-operation contract between BCEL and BIDV for the next quarter from 2009 – 2011 at Don Chan Palace; this signing ceremony was honored signing by Mr. Sonexay Sitphaxay General Director of BCEL and Mr. Tran Anh Tuan General Director of BIDV , this Signing Ceremony was honored attended by many distinguished guests include Vietnamese ambassadors; Department’ directors from Bank of the Lao P.D.R, representative s from other state-own commercial banks and BCEL’s management team.
